LFW Review: Dresscodes by Saul Nash - How North Side Boys Move
Reflection of Saul Nash's AW24 collection Dresscodes.
“Dresscodes” chronicles the anthropological odyssey of “How North Side Boys Move,” paying homage to a mans personal journey of maturity coupled with club scene attire reflecting the times.

Saul Nash’s AW24 Dresscodes collection can only be described as the ultimate vibe. The show, presented against a backdrop of cool blue and violet lighting, and champagne bottles littered around the runway. If it wasn't clear already, we are at a party, from DJ’s spinning tracks to to the fellas who danced throughout the runway. This wasn't any ordinary party; it exudes class.
Opening the show, much like a club, our first encounter is the beloved bouncer, embodied by the opening model. Marked by his sharp shades and earpiece, he established order and introduced us to the concept of Dresscodes.

“Saul then reflects on growing up himself, maturing with a little edge.”
Something Saul Nash mastered in this collection was the ability to infuse the integrity of his brand with a different style, showcasing the versatility of his clothes. He marks his inspiration from observing his older brother mature in front of his own eyes, trading in his trackies for a collared shirt and trousers for a night out on the town. Saul then reflects on growing up himself, maturing with a little edge. Disruption, after all, is the hallmark of exceptional fashion.
The collection pieces and the style direction reflect growing trends in menswear, combining casual elements with smart features, all in the name of wearability. We see charming juxtaposition from tracksuits paired with nylon and clean leather loafers. Techwear was transformed into something elegant within Dresscodes.
One of my favourite pieces was the zip-up collared vest top, the perfect, versatile basic to dress up or down for a more casual look Additionally, the red and black jogging suits, and the exposed stitching along the partially detached hoods elevated these sets beyond any regular athleisure set.
“Movement, community, and fun.”
The dancers' movements followed a slow procession throughout the runway showcasing the pieces with each model, demanding attention from the audience. The ingenious choreography, along with the bouncer's commanding presence heading the show and finally the fabulous Jourdan Dunn closing out, fashionably late to the party of course. Saul Nash, once again, shared and executed an amusing story with this new collection.
The show was amazing, to say the least, Saul Nash continues to make Tottenham proud with his ongoing success. This collection further shows the growth of Saul Nash’s brand and plays on the trends of dressing smart. The show was a clear example of Saul Nash’s core themes, which are movement, community, and fun.
